I am currently working on a documentary series about intersectional environmentalism called Cycles while running a design consultancy, Mizuchi Studio. Previously, I was the Chief Design Officer at Sieo, a startup studio based in Los Angeles. Before that I served as the Chief Innovation Officer at New Lab in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where I created and oversaw a product development program for Fortune 500 companies. I led the in-house research as well as brand strategy, and managed a diverse and highly effective team. I am the former Creative Director for Nanotronics—the developer of an automated inspection system utilizing Artificial Intelligence—where I worked on human-centered UX and ergonomics for an increasingly automated world. I have over a decade of experience in design; having worked as the cofounder of the fashion tech company Loomia (née The Crated) and I have produced collections for the likes of Helmut Lang and Kimberly Ovitz.
My work and insights into tech and design have been featured in Wired, Fast Company, New York Magazine, Into the Gloss, Elle Japan, Monocle, Entrepreneur.com, Engadget, Ozy, Cool Hunting, 3DPrint.com and more. My design work has shown notably at the V&A Museum, Tribeca Film Festival, Coachella and NY Fashion Week. I have held creative tech residencies and fellowships at The School of Visual Arts, Undercurrent and The Brooklyn Fashion Design Accelerator.
